Pre-Travel Consultations

Ideally, schedule your travel health consultation 4-6 weeks before departure. Dr. Soltani will review your itinerary, assess health risks specific to your destination, and recommend appropriate vaccinations and preventive medications.

Destination-Specific Vaccines

Different regions of the world carry different health risks. We provide vaccines for hepatitis A and B, typhoid, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, and other travel-related illnesses based on your specific destination and activities.

Malaria Prevention

If you’re traveling to a malaria-endemic region, Dr. Soltani can prescribe appropriate prophylactic medication and advise on mosquito bite prevention strategies.

Travel Health Advice

Beyond vaccinations, we provide guidance on food and water safety, altitude sickness prevention, traveler’s diarrhea management, sun protection, and other destination-specific health precautions.

Important Note

Travel medicine consultations and some travel-specific vaccines may not be covered by OHIP. We will inform you of any associated costs before providing services.
